| Objectives | Assess the spawning stock of blue whiting in March/April 2007 as part of the jOint international ICES coordinated PGNAPES survey on the spawning grounds west of the British Isles and Porcupine Bank. Four parties and six research vessels took part in the survey, coordinated by the Planning Group on Northeast Atlantic Pelagic Ecosystem Surveys (PGNAPES) at ICES. Results to be used in the assessment of blue whiting by the Northern Pelagic and Blue Whiting Working Group (NPBWWG) in August 2007. |
