| Objectives | The objectives of this cruise were:
1. Establish a current meter mooring at 57N, 9W. Accomplished. 2. Work the Rockall via Anton Dohrn Seamount (Ellett Line) hydrographic section. Partially accomplished with 5 eastenmost stations missed due to bad weather. 3. Launch a satellite-tracked buoy with thermistor chain. Abandoned due to technical problems with the buoy. 4. Work St. Kilda shelf-edge section. No time to do this due to bad weather. 5. Collection of large-volume surface water samples for radio-caesium measurements. 8 of 10 stations accomplished. STD profiles taken on sampling sites. 6. Near real-time supply of temperature profiles to the Met Office.
