| Objectives | 1) To carry out the Faroe pre-recruit demersal fish and environmental survey
2) To work the Fair Isle-Munken hydrographic line on both the outward and the return from the Faroe plateau 3) To work the JONIS line at the end of the cruise 4) Large samples from the catches were deep frozen, and shellfish samples were frozen for sex and maturity studies. Samples were also taken for heavy metal analysis A call was made at Torshavn from the 18/07/1976 till the 20/07/1976. ''Explorer'' returned to Torshavn for repairs on the 22/07/1976 till the 23/07/1976. |
