| Objectives | 1. To lay eight current meter rigs in the Tyne-Tees area. These 8 stations will complement the two stations already established
2. To carry out the third of the 4 water quality surveys in the Tyne area planned for 1978 with additional sampling for metal analysis. 3. To carry out the third of the 4 water quality surveys planned for 1978 in the Tees area. 4. To collect water samples in the Tyne-Tees area and offshore to provide information on hydrocarbon levels as part of a general study of these levels in UK waters. 5. To test the towed body and Alden recorder in conjunction with the Acoustic Release system. |
