| Objectives | 1. To determine the distribution and abundance of 0-group gadoids in the North Sea, west of 0º and south of 59º 30'N, being the English contribution to the ICES coordinated programme.
2. To test the 2 square metre frame trawl for the sampling of 0-group gadoids. There was no time to attempt this aim. 3. Collection of samples of Gasterosteus aculeatus for Dr Miller (University of Bristol) and Cyclopterus lumpus for Dr Greer Walker. No Gasterosteus were caught but two Cyclopterus were caught and returned to the library. |
