| Objectives | The cruise was divided into two parts: One hydrographic and one meteorological. The hydrographic work comprised sections under ERS-2 satellite overpasses: 2 long sections with CTD & lowered ADCP, from Norway to Greenland & from Svalbard to Iceland, a shorter section across northern Denmark Strait, which was repeated & a near-zonal section in Fram Strait.
The meteorological work took place in the marginal ice zone during a 10 day period in the middle of the cruise. The cruise report provides no record of port of departure and port of return. |
