PurposeResearch
ObjectivesThe main aim of the cruise was to continue geophysical investigations in the Scotia Sea. In addition measurements of the distribution of certain halogenated hydrocarbons in the atmosphere were made. Chemical analyses of hydrocarbon and carbon monoxide in the air and seawater were made. Collections of Antarctic fauna and flora for trace element analysis with special emphasis on the study of krill.
