1. To carry out three inshore beam trawl surveys of parts of the Irish Sea and West Wales coasts.
2. To sample juvenile fish and identify sole nursery grounds.
Survey 1. Used for beam trawling along the north Wales coast from the Great Orme to the Dee estuary, 20th-23rd July
Survey 2: repeat of 1, 11th and 14th September.
Survey 3: beam trawl survey completed, 15th-18th September. |
