This was a joint exercise with the Geophysical Institute of the University of Bergen
The plan was for the University to lay the current meter buoys from RV H U Sverdrup. RV ERNEST HOLT would then work one hydrographic section repeatedly in the vicinity of the buoys. RV HELLAND HANSEN of the University was to relieve RV ERNEST HOLT and continue making hydrographic observations.
