| Objectives | 1) To obtain samples of water and sediment in grid patterns around 2 of the largest North Sea production sites, Brent and Forties
2) To complete a line of stations on the Forth-Forties line 3) Scientific fishing hauls for demersal fish were carried out around the Forties production platforms, on the Bergen Bank and on the Aberdeen Bank to collect fish for the TRS taste pannel 4) At as many stations possible, heterotrophic mineralisation of hydrocarbons and bacteria number counting for oil degraders were carried out on sediment and water 5) Fish caught in the sediment samples will be analysed for arsenic Part II of this cruise was cancelled |
