---|
Objectives | 1) To collect samples of water, sediment and biota, for metal and nutrient analysis, in the inner part of Moray Firth, particularly the Cromarty and Inverness Firths and the BACO dumping ground.
2) To collect a 25 l sample of surface seawater, at 56°32' N, 2°20' W, as part of DAFS input to MAFF's programon the quantification of radio active substances in British coastal waters.
3) To examine the incidence of diseased fish in the Forth estuary in the relation to water quality. Samples of fish will be collected at a number of positions in the inner and outer sections of the estuary.
4) To collect samples of water, sediment and biota for metal and nutrient analysis, in inner the part of Firth of Forth, particularly in the coastal areas between Edinburgh-Dunbar and between Forth Bridge- Grangemouth. |
