| Objectives | This short cruise was devoted entirely to engineering performance and development work. The main objective was to establish the performance of a number of towed samplers and a TV observation vehicle over a range of speeds. Data was collected on which to base future design changes and development of new equipment. Some electronic and acoustic development work was also carried out. |
