PurposeFisheries
ObjectivesAnnual groundfish survey. The Aim was to carry out a trawl survey of the Celtic Sea to obtain information on:
a) Distribution, size composition and abundance of all fish species.
b) Age-length distribution of selected species.
c) The spatial and temporal distribution of high concentrations of groundfish, if encountered.
d) The detailed distribution of spawning cod in the North West of ICES Division VIIg (Celtic Sea).
