| Objectives | Sampling water at 2m intervals in 20m of water at three points along a 100km transect from Ravenna to Cattolica.
Objectives included characterisation of the varying hydrography along this transect, how this realated to the primary nutrients, particulate material, organic matter and hopefully to benthic respiration measurements being made simultaneously. Note was also made of an intense marine algal bloom on the hermocline as seen by divers making a video recording. |
