| Objectives | This was an American led cruise to the Patagonian Shelf during December 2008. The cruise aboard the RV Roger Revelle focussed upon coccolithopore production and export rates along the shelf break during a transect cruise from Montevideo to Punta Arenas. There was also extensive investigation of the physics of the shelf break front and western boundary current confluence region. |
