BAS Biosciences MME/OED Programme
Cruise JR57 was the first in a series of cruises scheduled to be carried out annually for the Variability in the Southern Ocean Project (VSOE) which forms part of the OED (Ocean Ecosystem Dynamics) Programme. The programme is concerned with monitoring interannual oceanographic and biological variation in the region of South Georgia and ultimately to understand its causes. |
