PurposeResearch
ObjectivesNational Marine Monitoring Programme (NMMP) winter baseline of nutrients in the southern North Sea.
Aim 1: Recover and service Smart Buoy moorings at Outer Gabbard and Thames Warp Anchorage;
Aim 2: Collect water samples for nutrients, chlorophyll and suspended solids etc. at NMMP sites from Thames to Tyne and Dogger Bank;
Aim 3: Complete 35 sediment core stations between Dogger Bank and Tyne.
