Annual repeat hydrographic sections on GO-SHIP lines SR1b (across Drake Passage) and A23 (northern Weddell Sea to Scotia Sea) measuring full-depth ocean temperature, salinity, oxygen, and velocity plus discrete samples for oxygen isotopes, to monitor the transports of the Antarctic Circumpolar Current and the properties and volumes of Antarctic Bottom Water and understand their drivers, variability and connection to the global climate system and the ocean's sequestration of heat and carbon
2. Opportunistic measurements of nutrient concentrations, nutrient isotopes, environmental DNA, and microplastic pollution to connect these tracers and biogeochemical parameters to the time series of physical variability on SR1b and A23
3. Opportunistic CTD/ADCP/oxygen isotope survey of Cumberland Bay, South Georgia, including new measurements in western fijord
4. Opportunistic hydrographic section along the North Scotia Ridge, repeating stations visited on JR299 and resampling the northern part of the ACC downstream of SR1b
5. Deployment of 4 autonomous Argo profiling floats to monitor ocean physical properties and circulation
